Straight To Video is out to rock, and put a smile on your face while doing it. We put together heavy riffs, thundering drums, screaming solos and then top it off with some humorous lyrics. We'll make you hold your side and bang your head at the same time. Throw shame out the window. No room for it with these guys. Not when they sing songs about bringing girls back to their Mom's house in their minivan. What they may lack in shame, they more than make up for with rock.
Having all grown up together in the IROC-Z haven of Billerica, one could never escape the influences of such bands as Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, and Motley Crue. Later influences include The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, They Might Be Giants, Tenacious D, and The Darkness.
All the members needed more out of a band than they had in previous music groups. They didn't need to cry over how their lives suck and about their failed relationships that would have never worked out anyway. They're too busy poking fun at the world and themselves to care, and they want everyone else in on the joke.
