Stranded Cruiser

Stranded Cruiser is New Garage Rock. This handle is all about an attitude that captures the spirit of the Independent Music scene and the inspiration of differing genres of music, from electrified blues, punk and thrash. It’s all about melody but its heavy!!

Stranded Cruiser is the revitalization of an earlier project called Curtain Jumper fronted by Stefan Dos Santos. Now with a combined effort of nearly 100 live performances and an arsenal of original songs many people tuned into the local Durham Ontario music scene view Stranded Cruiser as veterans.

The band consists of Dos Santos on guitar, Rob Edmonds on drums, Alex Michaelides on bass and Tim ...Regan on guitar and all contributing to vocals. We’re proud of the fact that Stranded Cruiser has gelled into a tight unit delivering energetic live performances and well arranged songs. Often described as authentic, Stranded Cruiser is a true escape from the grasp of auto-tune and over exaggerated post production “pop” techniques that is being digested by the masses as rock.

Are we revolutionary, will we be that next great band to shake things up… probably not, but we will be around doing what we love for quite a while. Four years of experience, a decent story so far... there’s more to come.
