Playing In The Grass (Live)
An Uncomfortable Conversation at Dinner (Single)

The band came together while attending College of the Ozarks in Branson, MO. The three original members of the clan are Randall Zaitz, Brandon Henry, and Ginger Blue Wilkerson. The clan attended several music shows together, and at one particularly amazing event, they simultaneously made the decision to play music together for as long as they could stand to in the summer of 2006. Brandon Henry named the band, and our first song, “Rest Assured,” was composed during our first practice. The members of the band came together with the intent of exploring the possibilities of jam music and improvisation through the use of common genre elements such as rock, bluegrass, folk, funk, blues, and alternative in a fusion style. The clan strives to create an experience that is unique and shared on a personal level with the audience. Brandon Henry plays lead guitar and vocals. He has a large hand in composition of individual songs and is a driving force in our jam sessions. Randall Zaitz is a solid funky bass player who brings a locked and loaded attitude to our music. He can also play the guitar. Nathan Pickering, our most recent addition to the band, has been a life long friend and musical companion with BH. His main instrument for Strangely Enough is percussion, but Nathan is also a guitar player. Ginger Blue is also a lyricist and composer; her main instruments are piano, guitar, auxillary percussion and woodwinds, and vocals. All members of the band are capable of playing a large range of instruments and styles of music, so you never know what might be thrown down in a jam.
