Bio

Kara Falck (Vocals)
...grew up on the pop music of the 80s. She has experience with choral, pop, R&B, a cappella, and jazz music, and uses her range, technique, and a good ear to cover a wide variety of styles and sounds. Although she's performed with other bands in the DC area, including a DC Go-Go band, she's enjoyed singing with these guys since 2007, even though they're somewhat... "Strangely Inappropriate."

Mike Thomas
(Vocals, Rhythm Guitar)
...the final piece to the strangely family, has experience performing with other DC area rock cover bands, most recently with “Fistful of Cats”. Although he got his real introduction to signing in men’s chorus’ and performing in show choirs as a teen, he is happiest belting out 90’s and modern alternative rock songs.

Mike D.
(Lead Guitar, Background Vocals)
...learned his first notes in the sixth grade from his father, a classical guitar hobbyist. As a child Mike learned scales - and lots of them - but after hearing Van Halen's first album, a passion for rock guitar was born. Mike has played in garage and basement bands for years, honing his super-human guitar skills. In the early 2000s, he was one of the founding members of Northern Virginia cover band, "Quazi." In 2006, Mike met with some former band mates to jam and that laid the groundwork for the band "Roller," now "Strangely Inappropriate." With this group he has found others who share his passion for music and entertaining.

Steve Lingo
(Drums, Background Vocals)
...has been drumming on anything that makes noise since childhood. Now that he's too old for marching band, he's settled into rocking great cover tunes with "Strangely Inappropriate." After recent stints with DC area cover bands "JunkFood" and "Cheap Date," Steve joined forces with "Strangely Inappropriate" in summer of '08.

Bob Counts
(Bass, Background Vocals)
...has been playing and singing in front of live audiences for more then 25 years. Although a gifted guitarist and pianist, bass is his favorite instrument. Going back the past 10 years he has played and sung in numerous projects, cover bands and some church groups, more recently "Mistaken Identity" (classic rock), "Quazi" (modern rock) and now with "Strangely Inappropriate" (formerly "Roller"). Bob also has experience teaching piano, bass and guitar in his spare time.
