Bio

I’ll bet you never thought that you’d find a band capable of satisfying that deep down hunger, that kind of hunger that drives a person to eat ham that’s 3 weeks past it’s expiry date. Well now you have!

Introducing the fresh, new taste of Tools... Strap-On Tools to be precise. Using a secret family recipe, the good folks at Casa-Del-Tool have come up with a brand new kind of band that's guaranteed* not to leave you with a foul aftertaste. Yes friend, you too could be enjoying Strap-On Tools right from the comfort of your own home.

Their own special brand of poppy punk comes from a diverse blend of influences ranging from Rush to Stevie Ray Vaughn to In Flames and draws comparisons to the likes of Weezer and New Found Glory. This, combined with some serious bribery, have made Strap-On Tools a big draw in their hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada

This group of miscreants from parts unknown have been spreading beer fuelled mayhem around the globe (or at least around the block) since 1999 when they played their first show in front of screaming (and drunk) fans at the 360 bar in Toronto. Since then the band has gone through a few small line-up changes: Gaining, then losing a lead singer. Losing then gaining a drummer. Replacing a guitarist with another guitarist, and most recently dropping a really fat bassist, for a really skinny one... But despite all of this, the band has not lost focus on it's goal: Ridding the world of alcohol the old fashioned way.

Now with their line-up in place, Strap-On Tools have been pushing towards greatness with a pack of hangers-on following their every move and a single-minded intensity and focus that... uhh... I forgot what I was going to say...

Anyways, back to the point. Fire bad, Strap-On Tools good...

S.O.T. features Brandon E.M. Savage on vocals (and playing the superfluous guitar parts), Chad Szymanski on Drums, Duncan Brown on Guitar and vocals, and James "Jimbo" Pucyk on Bass Guitar. Each member of The Tools additionally features a small entourage of tiny blue people that actually play the instruments.
