Strato70 was born in 2001, after Alessandro and Antonio Verde (bass and guitar) and Ludovico Valoroso (vocals) decided to join their previous musical experiences in a common project. We immediately realized that we were sharing the same idea of a rockband , and this allowed us to start working with the enthusiasm of the most joyful experiences given by life. After changing many drummers, Antonio Iacovone set as the 4th piston of our engine, adn we started playing around Italy, in clubs, TV shows, and the national final of the contest "Sanremorock". We took the ideal of the great bands of the past as an heritage to keep and preserve and to take strenght from, to realize our ideas and our personalities through the music. The band as a family, as a united group, as a moment of comparison, mutual exchange, growth, as the life itself. The music can often substitute the verbal language, overcoming the limits that we give it by ourselves (unfortunately), in a time when paradoxily the exponential growth of mass communication medias can dilute its depth and effectivenesses... A lot of things have changed since the 70's that gave us the light, and to whom we give an hommage even with the band name, but the intention to repropose their vitality and creativity through the music, this is still alive. Our music was born from shared experiences, from improvisation, by workin in the rehearsals room. This allows an immediate comparison, and a cohesion of colors and sound environments made possible by the inspiration suggested from one to eachothers', fed note after note thanks to the empathic atmosphere that we consider so precious because it's unrepeteable.
