Bio
Strawberry Blonde is an alternative rock band from the basement of the SUNY Purchase music conservatory. They have played at small clubs and venues all throughout the New York City area, including The Bowery Electric, The Well, The Stood, Munchmore's, Shrine World Music Venue, East Islip Lanes, and The Footlight along with other local alt-rock groups. The band performed heavily in the Summer '17, before taking a break from shows to finish their newest studio project.
Formed in the spring of 2015, the five-piece utilizes their diverse musical backgrounds in pop, emo, punk, and jazz to craft a sound that is as vibrant and emotive as it is unique. Consisting of vocalist and guitarist Liam Connors, guitarist Sam Barna, bassist Sean Power, drummer Alex Frondelli, and trumpet player Patrick Dudasik, the group is known for their dynamism on the stage and in the studio; effortlessly switching gears from sonorous and heartfelt to heavy hitting and anthemic to carefree on a dime. The band's debut full-length "Better Still" was released on July 27th, 2016.
