STRAWHOUSES is all about that feeling that we're living blissfully unaware we're on unsteady ground.
Inspired by Orwellian conspiracies, their lyrics range from apocalyptic nightmare visions of the future to the collapse of everyday relationships, to self conscious, claustrophobic confessions of past mistakes.
Their musical influences are diverse; from the melody kings of Radiohead, REM and U2, to the tribal beats of Killing Joke, to the darkest moments of Joy Division and The Smiths.
Strawhouses are currently recording in the studio, rehearsing and soon to be gigging across the country
