"The Sound Of Music"

the first time i heard street circus symphony, i had a feeling of natural harmonic energy that sent great vibrations from my ears to my soul. - L.A. The Artist

"Young rockers forge cultural links, even if no one was there to see it"

The talent was young, fresh, unfettered with record deals and excited about the opportunity to play an international scene.

It wasn't uncommon to hear the exclamation "We just got our passports!" emanating from backstage.

Over half of the band members of Street Circus Symphony, from Savannah, Georgia, and one member of Endway from Boston, Massachusetts, received expedited passports in 24 hours.

"We didn´t actually believe we were going to be playing in Costa Rica until we were on the bus here from San Jose," explained Ben Bowne, bassist for Street Circus Symphony.

The musicians´ collective excitement was palpable. Most of the bands began playing as soon as they hit ground in Costa Rica and weren´t planning to stop until they left. - A.M. Costa Rica

Bio

Street Circus' distinctive sound has put them in front of audiences from Central America to stops up and down the East Coast. Currently Touring in support of their independently produced Debut Album: CREATURE FEATURE.

Vocalist Pat Hinnegan and Guitarist Mike Goldstein honed their sound in Philly before Goldstein relocated to Savannah to study Sound Design at The Savannah College of Art & Design. Pat soon followed and while the duo began making a name for themselves in the local music scene, they met other musician nomads Bassist Ben Bowne, Trumpet/Keyboard player Jim Shaffer. They quickly began transforming Pat and Mike's duo work into a five piece effort and Street Circus Symphony was born.

These five musicians from Philly, Austin, Cleveland and Wichita, stand on the shoulders of their wide array of influences including Incubus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, Louis Armstrong, Queen, Sly and The Family Stone, to bring a fresh, uplifting brand of Funk Rock to the peoples.

The Creature Feature Tour packs up the freaks and rolls out of Savannah in June 2008.
