Bio

Street Dirty started out Homicide & Suicide back in 1989 when the eldest members PapaJoe(Homicide) & JackRuby(Suicide)met in the Detroit Job Corps Center. Both age 18 and recording sinse age 15 As soon as the to started to network, they recognized that they had similar taste & ideas concerning hip-hop and thier musical careers. @ the time
PapaJoe was Dj Jack Of Spades b.k.a. (Jack Tha Rippa) along with Ace Of Spades (R.I.P.) and Deuce Of Spades formed the Royal Flush Posse witch was falling apart fast due to different career goals. Jack Ruby was Tha Suicide MC b.k.a. (Suicide Tha Vocal Lord) with cousin Homicide MC formed Homicide & Suicide b.k.a Mika, whom performed fluently on comcast Ch.36 in Highland Park. Both groups @ the time were recording with Mike Move (Al Nuke Fame) so when tha groups Defunked for whatever reasons, it just seemed inevitable that the two aspiring artist would team up As the new Homicide & Suicide and continue recording with Mike Move for some time until deciding to venture off on their own in 1993 and change the group to Mad Deep & Mental. Now with PapaJoe on the beats along with Cal Smart & Rob Black the crew recorded while hustling up on recording equipment of their own. Some of those recordings ended up on the infamous Billy T’s Rap Trax shows including two comercial spots advertising the ground breaking show that got rotation during the 5 hours the show was on a night. In 1996 they recruited 16 year old Rocket b.k.a. (Kamikazi) and took the duo of 1 MC & 1 DJ to a 1 DJ, 2 MC click and by 1997 had finished their freshman release Da Blueprint. The release sold a few hundred units and got the street vibe going but, something was missing. Concluding With tha addition of 3 new emcees in 1998, Street Dirty (formally Mad Deep & Mental forms some of tha Illist styles around Yo way pimp! from tha original MadDeep&Mental stew of Papa, JackRuby, & RocaBino 2 da Street Evil stylin of Expo & AlBanga & G.A.B.B. tha metamorphisis iz complete.Meltin mics @ spots like C-Note, Keynote, Ebony Showcase, Hotrocks, The Hot spot, The Blue Room, & hosting their own hip-hop showcase @ tha Ramada Inn Stockyard Room Street Dirty iz bound 2 be a force 2 b reckoned with in 2005.
