Feeling a bit camera shy

Born Pablo Leonel Godoy Paiz, O.B.U came to Canada at the age of 3 in hopes of escaping the 36 year civil war that had plagued his people and claimed the lives of his own family. After an attempted murder of his father who had faught against the militant oppressive government of Guatemala, he and his family were forced into exile in Canada. From a very young age, O.B.U (One. Big. Unit), has been in the fight and struggle for peace and social justice. Through words of wards, and experience he has battled his fears, emotions, and has attempted to become an exception to the many stereotypes that exist about pegged him as Hispanic youth. Through the blessing of his peers, he has been able to spread his words and message abroad, through Guatemala, Venezuela, New York City, Brooklyn, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Calgary, and hopes to take it to new levels. "He strongly believes that "The power of the conscious mind has no limits". His Talents have led him to appear on various local and international media. Including CBC (channel 6 as well as RadioOne) TLN, Omni Television, Toronto Star, Toronto Sun, Venezuelan radio, and much more.
