David Shaw & The Round Trip - "Beautiful Escape" ep. This CD was a tribute album to seminal power pop rockers The Posies. Streetlight Circus (then called David Shaw & The Round Trip) were featured covering the song "I Guess You're Right." The CD is available through Amazon.com and on iTunes.

A new CD from Streetlight Circus will be released in fall 2011.

New York City’s Streetlight Circus has begun tracking for its forthcoming album, its fourth, with an eye towards a 2020 release. The band’s last release, Needle Down, was recorded at Spin Recording Studios in Long Island City, NY (Lamb of God, Black Tide, Trans-Siberian Orchestra) and Snake Mountain Studios in Monroe, NY. It was mixed and mastered by famed engineer Bob St. John (Extreme, Duran Duran, Collective Soul).    

Needle Down continued the Streetlight Circus tradition of in-your-face hard rock, mixing an old school vibe with a modern approach to songwriting. The album, like the band’s previous releases, is full of high-energy, melodic rock songs displaying the band’s penchant for solid musicianship, soaring vocals and memorable hooks.    

Since 2010, Streetlight Circus has been a hot property in the resurgence of hard rock and roll. The band has rocked thousands thanks to invites to festivals such as the M3 Rock Fest, Rock ‘N Derby, Rock Carnival, Rocklahoma, Rock Fest Wisconsin, Soundwave Music Festival, and others. The band has performed to packed houses throughout the U.S., from the Sunset Strip in Hollywood to theatres in New York City and up and down the East Coast. In June of 2018, the band rocked its inaugural tour of the United Kingdom which was met with a wonderfully enthusiastic response from fans and press  An ever-growing fan base has seen Streetlight Circus share bills with a wide variety of heavyweights such as Halestorm, Twisted Sister, Sixx: AM, Anthrax, Megadeth, Buckcherry, Faster Pussycat, A Day to Remember, Queensryche, Ghost, Shinedown, Tom Keifer, Avatar, The Doobie Brothers, Billy Squier, and countless others. The band prides itself on being professional while providing concertgoers with a high voltage live show.   

The band has received positive national and international press and support from major newspapers, leading hard rock online publications, and Internet and terrestrial radio. In addition, Sirius/XM personality Luc Carl asked Streetlight Circus to write and record bumpers for his radio shows. The band’s singer, David Shaw, has collaborated with Jesper Binzer, singer of legendary Danish band D-A-D, on Binzer’s recent smash solo CD, Dying is Easy, as well as D-A-D’s latest #1 album, A Prayer for the Loud. With the success of Needle Down and an anticipated new album, the band is eager to continue grow the band’s audience with touring, radio support, and an increased global presence.
