STREET LIGHT is an American Hip Hop artist from Detroit, MI, located in Los Angeles, CA. In 2010, he established a highly successful online presence, mainly through the widely recognized YouTube. Building on that success, STREET LIGHT has released 7 mixtapes over the last 4 years. He has won multiple rap competitions against hundreds of other emcees, which has allowed him to build a strong core of followers and listeners. A story-teller at heart, STREET LIGHT has been noted for his genre blending and lyrical diversity, drawing comparisons to Lupe Fiasco, Eminem, Pusha T and Royce Da 5’9”. On July 2nd, 2012, he broke 2 world records for the Longest Continuous Freestyle Rap, and Longest Marathon Rapping, clocking in at 13 Hours, 2 seconds nonstop. Recently, he founded a media management and production company entitled “Red Empire”. On August 31st, 2015, STREET LIGHT released his highly anticipated album entitled “Dark Summer”.
