Strength of Cause is the alter-ego of Joey Orchyk, a one-man folk-punk act.
Joey's music is heavily influenced by Nomeansno & Ford Pier, but he manages to mix inspiration from other songwriters like Ralph Spight (Victims Family, Freak Accident), Benjamin Barnes (Deadweight) & Kurt Cobain.
Strength of Cause is a music act, but it is also a magnetizing performance act. Sure, we've all seen singer-songwriters before, but this is a one-man show *pushing* to impress.
Strength of Cause is based out of Calgary, AB.
