Biography

Israeli composer and percussionist Yinon Muallem and Turkish renowned harpist Sirin Pancaroglu, released a new album of their collaborative project “Telveten” from KAF Music in Turkey, by the begining of February 2009.

Through this exploratory collaboration, Pancaroglu and Muallem bring ethnic and classical musical traditions together within a magical and innovative timbre. Bringing forth the world music perspective and the rhythmic foundation which often remain undiscovered in classical music, the duo performs pieces from a wide range of musical genres from Argentinean tango to Anatolian folk and Azeri music; from Yinon's original compositions to Baroque and Spanish classical music. Arslan Hazreti from Iran-Tebriz, accompanies the duo as guest artist at Azeri kemanche.

Telveten invites the audience to discover the adventures of an enchanting musical journey.
