String Theory

BandR&BHip Hop

What if we were to take all styles of music and blend them into a unique sound?String Theory is a diamond amidst a sea of zircons and delivers a powerful product all across the board.

With the fusion of Hiphop, Jazz, Rhythm and Blues, Classic Rock, Alternative Rock, Funk and Soul, String Theory creates a new standard for generations to come. As a band, we have begun to truly live our dreams. Where we began playing the house party circuit, we have moved up to high paying private parties and extraordinary clubs. Over the past year, we have kept incredibly busy playing on and off 6th street between 1 and 4 nights a week, from The Vibe, to the legendary Stubb's, to Spill, Spiro's, Headhunter's, Agave, Friends, Flamingo Cantina and most everywhere in between, with a consistent draw and fans that are inspirational in their participation. For South by Southwest 2004, we performed two influential and successful shows at Darwin's Pub and the Yoohoo sponsored stage. We have played with Texas Blues Legend W.C. Clark twice in the past year, as well as enjoying a successful residency at The Vibe, packing it out every Tuesday since April. Most recently, we were the featured band playing for the FBI's Texas Association of Hostage Negotiators, where we played in front of almost 500 FBI agents. We have two running videos "Long Walk" and "Scarab" on the Austin Music Network, as well as occasional interviews on "Club Scene", a show highlighting Austin's up and coming bands. In addition, we have recieved radio play on KVRX 91.7 and interviews due to public demand. Most recently, we were showcased at the Pecan Street Festival, an annual festival in Austin drawing over 200,000 people over the course of 2 days. As a group and as individual performers, we performed at the Candle Opera, a multi-faceted theatrical production which featured such artists as Patrice Pike, Groovin Ground, Funk Shui and Primm. The show was listed in the Austin Chronicle "Best Pick" section and was an amazing success on many levels. Every Opportunity to show the world our unique product, dream and passion is a blessing. We work hard as a team to make everything come together and be as momentous as possible.
