Stripes and Lines

We are a San Diego / Los Angeles band, and we strive to re-invigorate the so-called indie rock genre with style, energy, drive and creativity. Drawing on influences ranging from the songcraft of David Bowie, Pink Floyd, the Police and Pearl Jam; to the quirky genre-bending work of artists like Janes Addiction and Fugazi; our goal is to create vital and progressive music.

So far we've had the good fortune to have attracted a loyal southern California club following, and have toured the east and west coasts in venues ranging from LAs Wiltern Theater, El Rey, Key Club and Viper Room; to Webster Hall in New York; the Royale in Boston; the Showbox in Seattle; the Fillmore in San Francisco; and many more in addition to their home rooms in San Diego at the Casbah and Belly Up. We've established a reputation as a solid headliner at the Belly Up, and have also supported acts including Company of Thieves, the Whigs, New Politics, the Cat Empire and more.

We've also been growing our film resum, featured on Live Nation Concerts and in the film Repo starring Jason Mewes and Ben Gourley.  Our records have spun on 91X, 94.9 and other San Diego radio stations.
