Strong Hearts began as a "pick up where we left off" idea spawned by Shawn and Ian. After things didn't work out with our old band Maryland we decided to finish what had been started sound wise towards the end. Driven by our love of playing music we pulled together some good friends of ours who shared that same passion and began the writing process. It was important for us to stay low key and focus on solidifying our sound before we hit the market, and having everyone bring their own influence and ideas to the table really helped to create the sound we were looking for.
We have shared the stage with such bands as Living with Lions, and local friends California Lane Change. We love playing live and the absolute rush it delivers from first note to last. We have a fun high energy fast paced show that allows the audience to feel and understand why we do this.
From our punchy heavy sound to the heartfelt catchy lyrics and melodies, Strong Hearts hopes to captivate and touch fans at every show and every listen. If we can inspire even just one person and have fun doing it....mission accomplished!
