Known for his ability to convey emotions and body express his mind this business owner, producer, rapper, singer, songwriter, actor and model is an artists who defines himself through his music. Strongv delivers impactful and infectious punch lines which express real life and the personal trials and tribulations we all go through in life. From the recording studio to the concert stage, Strongv is in high demand as hip-hop’s hottest upcoming sensation.

IAA: What city and state are you from?

STRONG V: I am originally from Ottawa , Ontario. I currently reside in Lethbridge, Alberta.

IAA: What is your music background?

STRONG V: My musical roots are in old school Hip Hop. I enjoy the creativity of the music industry in the 90s and take inspiration from what it has turned into today. I grew up listening to many genres of music; from African music to hip hop, French rap and Reggae. These styles encouraged me to adapt my music and focus on progressive club music.

IAA: Why do you want to record and release your own music?

STRONG V: I believe in empowering people through music. This is a way for me to express myself and communicate things that others may be experiencing. Hopefully I will touch and inspire them.

IAA: What are your songs about?

STRONG V: Life, my lyrics focus on where I am in my life and at times where I would like to be. My lyrics also discuss what I’ve been through to get to where I am today.

IAA: Who is your fan base directed towards?

STRONG V: My fan base is surprisingly very mixed, from youth to adults. Primarily though I focus on Electronic Hip-hop. This genre has hip-hop elements complimented with urban electronic melodies.

IAA: Who are your musical influences?

STRONG V: I love so many different artists. It is tough to just pick one or even a few because everyone has something unique to offer. I like mostly Hip Hop, Electronic, House, and Classic Rock. I use all of their pieces to inspire me.

IAA: How would you describe your music to people ?

STRONG V: My music is a mix of Hip Hop sensation, House and Electronic with a unique voice. It has an open range which attracts all music lovers. I would describe my music as current, and it reflects how we are today. Every song has something different which keeps my fans excited and anxious to hear more.

IAA: What makes you stand out from other artist ?

STRONG V: My ability to flow in French and English or Lingala adds a different dimension and sound. I have been told I have an accent and that my voice and presentation distinguish me from others.

IAA: What are some upcoming projects, you are currently working on

STRONG V: Developing my own art and refining myself. My E.P is one of my current projects that I want to release in late January, which also includes the single released on May 31st . When released on iTunes, Elekroshock ranked 88th in the world. I’m working towards an upcoming music video, developing other artists and helping others to get seen and discovered under my Indie Label, Hektic Records.

IAA: What are your career goals? Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

STRONG V: My career goal for the moment is to get to the top. In 10 years I would like to be at a position where I am respected by people in the industry and also acquire distribution for my music and my record label. I would like to develop my brand to have a recognized independent label showcasing talent.
