One day Stroy will be the greatest comedian of all time - Stroy's mother - swag

"Owner of Laugh Factory Hollywood Jamie Masada"

"Stroy Moyd has a very distinct voice and overall style of comedy. He reminds me of a younger version of Chris Rock. If he continues doing comedy, there is no reason why he shouldn't be making 20 million a picture." - Jamie Masada - Owner of the Hollywood Laugh Factory. - laughfactory.com

"Cultural Affairs Commisions"

"Tough crowds happen in the world of stand up comedy. After 3 comedians went onstage and bombed, we were nervous for our headliner, Stroy Moyd. He opened the show with a little bit of improv. That really warmed the crowd up a little bit. Then he went on and told about 30 minutes worth of stories that us college kids could relate to, which was hilarious. He definitely showed us the difference between amateur and professional entertainers." - Jesse Sachs - Cultural Affair Commissions. - The Daily Bruin

"Quotes"

" Stroy has a a very powerful voice which makes people listen to him. Not to mention, his jokes are on point." - Shawn Wayans.

" There is no reason why Stroy shouldn't be making 20 million a picture in the next 5 years..." - Jamie Masada (owner of the Hollywood Laugh Factory).

"Stroy's shattering assumption jokes get me every time." Micheal Kvamme (owner of www.FunnyOrDie.com).

"Stroy Moyd is the funniest comedian I've ever seen!" - Stroy's mother. - The Industry

Bio

Stroy Moyd has appeared on NBC's 'Last Comic Standing,' UPN Bay Areas 'Elements' and 'Speak On It.' In addition to his television opportunities, Stroy’s stand up has been featured for listeners nationwide on Pandora and Sirus XM radio stations. Additionally, he has expanded his career and visibility through various large venue events. This includes being a dancer in Chris Brown’s music video for the hit single 'Look At Me Now.' Most recently, he hosted a 20 city national tour starring pop singer Dev, best-known for her singles 'Like a G6' and "Dancin in the Dark." Lastly, he opened in front of arenas of 30,000+ for the 2011 “OMG” tour featuring Usher and Akon.

Over the years, Stroy has made a name for himself as the 3-time winner of the Fresh Faces comedy competition based out of Hollywood’s Laugh Factory. Working as a regular at the Laugh Factory, Hollywood Improve, and the Comedy Store he has opened for notable comedians such as Dane Cook, Dave Chappelle, Sarah Silverman, Nick Swardson and Daniel Tosh.

Stroy Moyd's comedic style has been described as a blend of Chris Rock-like charisma with the short story telling ability and timing of Dave Chappelle. With a love of traveling, it is no surprise that many of his stories come from real life experiences on the road. Another major inspiration of his work is his family, which are regularly included in his acts. From his father’s ghetto home remedies, to his 70 year old Aunt who is pursuing a career in rap, Stroy clowns them all.
