With the likes of Eminem, Royce da 5’9” and new comer Big Sean, the Great Lakes State is certainly making noise on the national hip hop scene. However, a legion of talent outside of Michigan’s motor city is still untapped. 25 year old Stryve (born Patrick Jordan Sulzman) is prepared to be the next artist to emerge from this heap of emcees and bring Michigan’s own Capitol city into hip hop prominence. Influenced by the music of Tupac, Bone Thugs, Kanye West, Nas, Eminem and countless others, Patrick begin rhyming at the age of 8.

Mixing the gritty rhyme styles of the 90’s golden era hip hop he loves with his own unique, new school attitude, Pat has been striving relentlessly to make his mark on the rap game. While attending Central Michigan University, Stryve embarked on a career in hip hop, gaining success in the local spotlight throughout Michigan’s college campuses. With the release of his debut mixtape, “This Is My Day Job” and 2012's "Welcome to the Fast Life" featuring the popular single "Bye Bye", earned Stryve recognition as a definite up-and-comer to watch out for.

Now, Stryve is more hungry than ever, and with two goals in mind: putting his hometown of Lansing, MI on the map and creating incredible music that will last through the generations. Prepping the release of his first official mixtape entitled, “Late Nights, Big Dreams”, hosted by DJ Khaled’s The Chemist Music Group, along with his second official music video boasting the indie/pop hit “So Gone”, Stryve has his sights set on showcasing a fresh new sound with in the rap game, stating “My music comes from all different genres of music. Whether it’s old school, new school hip hop, bands such as Nirvana or the electro pop band, The Postal Service, my aim is to make a sound of my own while sticking to the formula of that classic hip hop we all love.”

Stryve has performed alongside Major Label and popular Indie Artists such as Machine Gun Kelly, Big Sean, The Dean’s List, Oncue, Gilbere Forte, Huey Mac, The Specktators and DJ Khaled’s The Chemist Music Group.

2013 looks even more promising for the gifted artist, with a brand new project on the way entitled, “Late Nights, Big Dreams” and numerous up-coming shows out side the Michigan Hip Hop scene which earned Stryve's earlier success.
