I wrote and recorded my first song in 1988. "Stand Together". An idealistic song about our world and communities, and the idea that if a mixed up guy like myself can know the emotion of Love, then there must be something that we can all stand together on. Almost all my songs are stories about blips of lifes moments.
In the early 90's I played with a band called 'Skin Groove'. We were a three piece band with Latin drum beats, and funk bass. I played guitar and sang for the band for about 5-years.
In earlier days my influences for guitar were Iron Maiden, Ratt, DIO,, you get the idea. A rocker! I added some other influences later that helped shape my vocals, Sting & the Police, Soundgarden, Cheryl Crow, Sara McCloughlin, and Ella Fitzgerald.
I have been playing about 3+ gigs a month, and at the same time continuing to write more songs. My ultimate goal is to be the next Jackson Brown, Billy Joel, or Neil Diamond. The story continues.
