Stuck In Conflict formed at the end of 2007, in Norwich, a city better known, musically, for it’s underground Indie scene. Bored of the lack of quality rock bands, Stuck In Conflict set out to break the mould. Whilst most local rock bands aimed to play as many gigs as possible, Stuck In Conflict decided to concentrate on the rehearsal room during 2008, honing their craft and writing quality songs.
‘Embers Glow’ is just a small part of their work during 2008. A self produced EP that blends the melodies of Ash, pop rock of The Get Up Kids and Jimmy Eat World with the heavier Thrice and Coheed and Cambria. Embers Glow shows that Stuck In Conflict are a melody driven rock band.
Lyrically, the EP focuses on change. From Tonight: Reality Becomes Our Dreams, a respective view of a life changing decision, Wearing Black’s powerful message that we can all effect the world if we are individually willing to change, to the hope even when all seems lost in Cracks Amongst The Ashes. You Talk Too Much emphasizes that the outward appearance of being superior doesn’t matter, it’s what’s inside that matters. Heartfelt recognises that if you let you heart be entwined, you can feel complete.
Stuck In Conflict are currently unsigned and looking for management/pr.
