Bio
Studda B was born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 27, 1987 . His Musical influences are Michael Jackson, The Jacksons, Mase, Will Smith, Silk the Shocker and the list goes on. At age 21 , Studda b met a rapper at a party. The pair became friends, Studda b began being his hype man. He has been doing his thing solo and making ladies dance ever since.
Early Life
song writer, musician. Born Brandon Betts, to mother Janet Betts , a Government employee, and father Michael Betts, also a Government employee. His middle class upbringing saw him attend Phillips High School.
His West Baltimore neighborhood was a family friendly environment where his mother and aunt grew up. everyone knows each other. Studda b was a good student whose charming personality and stuttering were renowned for getting him out of trouble, a trait for which he soon gained the nickname Studda B.
Studda began rapping at age 12, emulating heroes like Will Smith tingeing his rhymes with a comedic element that became his trademark. At 21, Studda met a rapper at a party . The pair became friends, and the two rappers began producing music and performing together, hyping up one another, at open mics and gigs here and there.
Rap Success
The pair began producing music, but Studda B steered clear of the Gangsta Rap sound Studda B rapped about love, relationship problems and his love for big girls, curse-free style that middle America found safe and entertaining. The pair's first single, "She's burning Hot," was a hit in the DMV. His Mixtape Form the bottom to the top(2013) hit the streets and became available on public sites such as datpiff and soundcloud, and made Studda B a loved and highly admired local artist. His dreams of one day becoming a successful rapper inspired him to take some media/film courses at the Montgomery county college in Rockville,MD where he earned a certificate for the course.
