Spawned from a turbulent liaison between driving electric guitar riffs, funk filled baselines, pounding drums, and atmospheric waves of synthesized keys, STUDIO O grooves its way into musical memory banks with a sophisticated blend of r&b and funk tinged soul gliding atop jazzy, progressive rock tones. When the night is said and done STUDIO O leaves no music loving ear the same with their uncharacteristic fusion of each of these powerful genres, whisked into one gelatinous, beautifully sonic delight. Over the course of nearly two years, Marc Shure – STUDIO O’s brainchild on guitar – has combined melodic forces with old and new friends whom he proudly calls family, including Don Scott and Czelena on vocals, David “D-Sharp” DeAngelis on keys, Eddie Gray on drums and Neko “The Fuzzmonk” on bass. Currently in the lab recording their debut release, STUDIO O is intent on taking music lovers on a symphonic ride imbued with melodic, guitar driven notes, a thick instrumental sound, soulful voices and a timeless but modern pop aesthetic.
