Bio

Stunt Machine is a four-piece Rock group, originating from the small, northern, city of Presque Isle, Maine. It's members include: Mike Mclean, as lead singer and guitarist; Adam Umphrey, as lead guitarist and harmony vocals; Chris Pelletier a.k.a. Wolf, as bassist and harmony vocals; and Zeb Kelley, as drummer and harmony vocals. Stunt Machine has been together for three years now and has grown musically with each passing day.
The band was originally a four-member group known as Closure. After a few line up changes, loosing a drummer to the military, and discovering that another band had already taken the name Closure, Mike, Adam, and Wolf searched for a new drummer and a new band name. Around the same time a band known as Charlie Don’t Surf had split up, thus their drummer, Zeb, was looking for a new band to play in. Adam and Zeb had previously played in a band together, with Zeb’s brother, back in high school. Since the two already knew each other it made perfect sense to join forces, and thus Stunt Machine was born.
Stunt Machine has many influences, ranging from older bands such as: The Beattles and Black Sabbath; to more recent bands such as: Nirvana, Green Day, and The Smashing Pumpkins. Other bands such as Guns 'n' Roses, Metallica, and ACDC also play a role in the band's original rock sound.
Stunt Machine started out playing parties in the basements of friends and renting out local bingo halls. Currently, they are now playing at area establishments and can be heard on the local radio stations in northern Maine. They have also self produced their first CD, In Your Hands. The members of Stunt Machine have worked very hard and are proud of what they have accomplished as a band.
Stunt Machine's live act is a powerful statement and needs to be seen to be fully believed. Combined with their original words and sound Stunt Machine is "the-right-out-of-left-field" breath of fresh air that rock music, America, and the rest of the world have been waiting for.
Hope you experience the MACHINE soon....
