Lyrics

Alaska (where the women are men and the sheep are scared)

Written By: Adrian Davis

Ride the ember through the milky way
Bathe in fog and send signals through arrays
Stay all night and glide the atmosphere
I'll devise a plan to dissappear

Half an hour glass of illuminated spectrum colors

And when the clock has just struck three
Spend the night with me
We'll elevate our dreams' meaning
Capture my colored eyes
Sucking you inside
Feeding off, our signs align

Serenade the empty space
Rest until there's time to waste
Try

Quicksand

Written By: Adrian Davis

Who's to say, who's to say there's an easy way
I never met a better tester of a theories pain
If cynical, cynical meant practical,
I'd flip the page and say we've brought upon the stone age
I don't know what you mean by "you'll never agree"
What you call obscene, you've misperceived its obscurity
It can't be easy to read when your eyes aren't keen
To send a message of a meaning through an artificial tv screen

Cause I'm all ways down and knees deep inside quicksand
And I'm all weighed out and spent in petrified remnants

Tantalize, redefine, patronize all the creeps
Hypnotized by the wise who keep you drifted asleep
You memorize in disguise what you're feeling beneath
And let out later just to cater to what you couldn't release
Always knew it would lead to a circus stampede
Free of everything that you couldn't beat before hidden between
It's never easy to read when your eyes aren't keen
To send a message of a meaning through an artificial tv screen

Let us try to see all sides again
I advise you realize this time

That we're all ways down and knees deep inside quicksand

Hologram

Written By: Adrian Davis

I've laid here before, but only as an empty smorgasbord
You fake a smile, i catch it with my blind eye
Inside, i feel surprised
And I solidify to hide

I reach out a hand only for you to pull away
I see you trying to move faster than your fastest moving pace

I'm just a hologram
Taking space, wasting space
I'm just a hologram
Won't you stay and gaze at me someday?

Do you feel anything, anything at all for him?
I can't discern, the embrace of his gain is the burden I've earned

You love him more and more, but you can't seem to find a way
Now here you stand abandoned left to make the bent thoughts straight

Look at me once and see that i dont need more than who you are already

I'm just a hologram
Taking space, wasting space
I'm just a hologram
Won't you stay and gaze at me someday?

Stand in the Light

Written By: Adrian Davis

I lay, I sigh
And i'm starving for the apples on the trees
And it's taunting when you stand there and you stare at me
If I had camouflage would you hide still, from me?
Do I have to take a stand in the light?
In the Light

So i will struggle with my inane periphery
And my words are acrimonies to my self discovery
And I'll continue synthetic healing to falter the cross into oblivion

Stand, and i will stand in the light, in the light

Death Row

Written By: Adrian Davis

Watch me as I run
Towards sky's limited sun
Stand afloat and ride the water
Chilled but spineless, I despise

Did I miss something? Did I miss something today?

Dissappear with your blessings
Poison grape of a sultan nonetheless
Breath, please leave me some
The host of the viral monsters

Did I miss something? Did I miss something today? Did I miss something? A flash of perished fate?

So be it on death row
I guess I'll join the game
So be it roulette stoke
To let me blow my brains

Rise, will not rise, i will swallow my anger and spit out my angst into your face

No way out, no return
To waste my dignity
Without a way to matter
Somewhere, ill take anywhere

Pretty Plain

Written By: Adrian Davis

Monday find me stuck again
This time I had to gain back my energy, had to gain back my energy that i wasted all on running around in circles, i was running around in circles to give you a mild high
I never do things right
When seconds to stage fright
Can't signal the spotlight
To succumb to your high price

Forgot to keep that promise never to be, never to be
Plain is so much better than it seems
Apparently unique's not worth the word received
And maybe it don't matter when you see
Scenes on tv screens with happily-ever concept themes

Friday, I passed out drinking all day
Couldn't even remember the circumstance that had me volunteer to be that guy you wanted me to portray while you seemed so adequately pleased and good-natured
Here we are and no one knows it out on a late night
I never do things right
When seconds to stage fright
Can't signal the spotlight to succumb to your high price

Now you know me? now you know me ohhhh
So much better, better to be plain!!
So much better, you better be plain!!!
