Sube'u

Sube'u is in the mid-lifecyle of a concept album. Sube'u is based on the music of the Ancient Sumerian's are if you listen closely, you can hear it. Take the song "The Dancing Flame" as an example. The intro to the song is in key, but as soon as the guitar first comes in, it's slightly out of tune with the opening. Then, as the song picks up, it becomes more and more in tune. The Sumerian's music around 3200 BCE, tuned to 1/8 tuning. Meaning, they had 8 step to a whole note, whereas we have 1/2 steps. The guitar at the intro of "The Dancing Flame" is tuned down 1/8 to the strings E. I believe this gives the song "flavor". Makes the listener hear something, but not sure what it is.
