Subject51 started DJ'ing quite by accident. As a member of the 3 time "best of The Bay" electronic band, Gooferman - He was asked to fill a DJ spot for an act that failed to show for an opening slot at a Gooferman show. Armed only with a laptop, a drive full of loops and a synth - he kept the audience grooving and dancing for over an hour.
Since then, Subject51 has performed in some of the biggest clubs and events in San Francisco, Chicago, New York City, Miami, London and Milwaukee. He's shared the stage with Black Eyed Peas, Crystal Method, BT, Bad Boy Bill and Andy Hunter.
Subject51 has remixed Bad Boy Bill, Crystal Method, BT, Nine Inch Nails, Junkie XL, Hybrid, Tiffany, Kanye West and many others.
Subject51 produces tracks at the Substation - his state of the art Pro Tools equipped, 5.1 mixing environment and synth lounge.
Subject51 currently has a residencies at Retox in San Francisco, Club Pazzo in Kenosha, WI and Club Lava - Syracuse, NY.
