The Subliminals

The Subliminals

BandRockFunk

The Subliminals are a 13-piece blend of funk, rock and soul: five talented vocalists, an electrifying rhythm section and a tight group of horns. They specialize in putting unique twists on familiar tunes, and genres as varied as gospel and swing are inflected into their music.

Biography

Formed in 2005, The Subliminals began as a 19-member outfit for the Battle of the Ad Agency Bands (with 10 lead singers no less.) A pared-down group of 13 took home top honors at the 2006 Battle of the Advertising Agency Bands Competition, and at the 2007 Fortune Battle of the Corporate Bands, they tied for second place, winning Best Vocalist, Best Bassist, and Best Horns in the process.
