A unos cuantos años de iniciar su travesía por los concurridos caminos del Rock Latino Alternativo. Sus integrantes dan muestra de que no intentan ser una no solo una banda mas, de tantas que pululan en el competido mercado de la región, sino que de verdad quieren llegar lejos con su proyecto musical que se desliza entre la adrenalina del Hip Hop, el sabrosísimo Reggae y, por qué no decirlo la guapachoso Cumbia, chapeado en oro con energético rock... impecablemente mezclados con ritmos jamaiquinos, caribeños y afroamericanos.
Subrosa Unión no solamente es una agrupación musical que toca por tocar. ¡Es una forma integral de vida!
A sus 6 años, la banda que nació en El Paso, Texas, y que antes de radicar en Austin, lo hacían en San Diego, California, cuenta en su haber con 4 CD todos con temas y música propia. Subrosa Unión dentro de su peregrinar por diversas ciudades ha compartido escenarios con bandas del calibre de Long Beach Shotbus, Third World, Authority Zero y en esta ciudad con el Grupo Fantasma y Los Skarnales entre otros.
Subrosa Union es una buen motivo para disfrutar en vivo de una genial banda de Rock Latino Alternativo que explota con toda intensidad un depurado estilo de hip hop/reggae/cumbia/rock... una Unión de ritmos bastante Subrosa que hay que ver y escuchar para creer.

Subrosa puts a unique funk-reggae beat to its music. Here's a better way to understand this wonder. Imagine the music gods playing with their chemistry set. They have the energy of Sublimes live shows with Bob Marleys talent and drive, then suddenly, boom! The product you end up hearing is SUBROSA UNION. As scholastically challenged as this sounds, the musical experience is amazing.
Reggae, latin, funk, rock, hip-hop - they even bust out with renditions of songs by rock legends The Doors and the Steve Miller Band- it doesn't matter to Subrosa. They will keep any crowd alive and wanting more. That's what makes SUBROSA UNION a band that gets people rockin' and talkin'.

Subrosa Union is a group that is playin to live and livin to play. Based out of Austin, TX, "the live music capitol of the world", Subrosa is always busy playing shows in and around Texas. Their common goal as professional musicians is to spread positive vibrations and continue growing together playing new music.
