Grit-pop quartet Subsurfer is a four piece indie pop band hails from Southern California with it's two founders coming from San Diego. Their debut album, We Are Stars, due out in October 2011, was produced by Brian Karscig (Atlantic Records, Louis XIV, The Nervous Wreckords) at White Horse Recording Studio. “Girl Problem,” the first single, is a collaborative effort with The Nervous Wreckords frontman who sings backup. Influences include Nirvana, The Wedding Present, and Radiohead
