Bio
Subtle Etiquette is one of the many projects of Bianca Carli. She is constantly evolving musically and trying to bridge the sound between the popular and eclectic. With a fondness for music of the 70's and modern trip hop, she injects a dose of sultry presence and soulfulness in all her musical collaborations. Under the aliases of Bionica and Ambient Sass, her solo live efforts had her mixing electronic vibes, infectious melodies and lyrics on love and learning with live brass and percussion. Now, Bianca can be seen with Subtle Etiquette producer/collaborater Shawn Hall, a.k.a Corduroy Kid of Old Sofa Music, in the buzz band "Apollo". The diverse musical influences of each band member make for an undescribable, yet memorable performance. They have shared the stage with BC legends such as Valdy and Chilliwack, recent Juno award winner Greg Schezbel and international touring artists Green TaRa, Bocephus King and Mary Ancheta. Their combined efforts will surely make a mark on the nujazz, soul and dance scene.
