Bio

Suburban Syndicate
sub·ur·ban[adj. suh-bur-buhn] syn·di·cate[n. sin-di-kit]
–noun
1. a confidential project developed by some of the biggest names and more importantly, some of the most talented individuals in the music industry today.

This bio while highlighting the project talent, also lists the pedigree of the individuals who have invested focused time, energy, and knowledge into the production, writing, guidance, and advancement of this project that is SUBURBAN SYNDICATE.

The members comprising Suburban Syndicate are all seniors in High school who have been writing together since Jr. High. All three are more than capable of shining as individual stars. Collectively it was immediately apparent that if developed by the right team, they could easily step in and fill the void left by bands such as The Beastie Boys. Suburban Syndicate have been under the guidance of Gothenberg Productions, Stewart Artist Management, producer Apple Juice Kid, producer Static Revenger, Clear Channel Programmer and Operations Director Alex Tear, and Producer/Engineer Steve King as of April, 2010.

Jeremy Stewart (DeadleeMC) - Killer timing and stage presence are both trademarks of DeadleeMC. Clever lyrics, outrageous personality and sense of humor - coupled with spiked fire engine red hair and high energy vocal delivery - make DeadleeMC a focal point of this trio of young rappers.

Anthony Moralis (Lil Mor) - Delivering hard-hitting, funny chorus hooks over heavy bass lines, he runs the gamut of what is hot in rap currently. Lil Mor moves effortlessly amongst a multitude of vocal delivery styles, augmented by a smooth-as-silk Latino voice. This bi-lingual dynamo is equally at ease spitting infectious hooks in English or Spanish.

Kenny Quick (Quicksta) - With pretty-boy looks and six pack abs, this girl magnet of the group holds his own with a variety of diverse voices, personalities and comical lines that bond these three together like glue.

The Pedigree behind this project:

Apple Juice Kid
The Apple Juice Kid's production has been heard on songs by Camp Lo, Wale, MC Lyte, Mos Def and YahZarah. An eight-time beat battle champion, and winner of the i-Standard NYC Beast of the Beats, his Miles Remixed album (OkayPlayer/illroots) has been downloaded over 20,000 times. As a percussionist, composer and bandleader, Apple Juice also fronts Freebass 808 and The Remix Project, and has toured as a drummer with The Foreign Exchange and The Jungle Brothers. He has been profiled in print magazines Scratch, The Hip Hop Connect(UK), Producer's Edge and websites such as Nahright, HipHopGame, and Pitchfork.

Static Revenger
Best known for the Platinum selling hits ‘I Like That’ & 'Happy People', as well as numerous #1 remixes, Static Revenger (aka Dennis White) enjoys international acclaim as a Music Producer, DJ, and Video Director, with support from the world’s biggest DJs and Music Video outlets.
With artist credits on over 3 million records sold worldwide, and several #1 dance records around the globe, this multi-instrumentalist is responsible for chart-topping winners for everyone from Madonna to Paul Van Dyk, and has directed music videos for the likes of Ultra Records, Paul Van Dyk, Mark Knight, Meck, as well as the video for ‘I LIKE THAT’, which has over 5 million views online.
He has performed around the world, sharing the stage with Fatboy Slim, The Basement Jaxx, Beastie Boys, Moby, and The Prodigy.

Alex Tear
Alex Tear knows programming and Clear Channel knows cluster management…hence an ideal union between the two. It wasn’t too long after a successful run at ABC/Disney’s WDRQ/Detroit that Alex Tear was called upon to lead two of CC’s prized Pittsburgh possessions. Tear’s strong suit has always been versatility in applying his skills set, and it’s one of the reasons this former CHR PD of the Year and self-professed ‘Rock guy’ is the new OM for CLEAR CHANNEL/MIAMI, which includes Classic Rock WBGG, Top 40 WHYI (Y100), SportsWINZ-A, News-Talk WIOD-A, Spanish Contemp WMGE, Rhythmic AC WMIA and Urban WMIB and programs Y100.

Steve King
Grammy award winning writer, producer, and engineer Steve King can be tied to nearly every noteworthy artist in Hip Hop today. As part of Eminem and the entire Shady Records family he’s worked on music with and for Dr. Dre, Jay-Z, Xzibit, 50 Cent, 2Pac, and more. But before he entered “the land of Eminem”, Steve King worked with the likes of Aretha Franklin, Don Was, George Clinton, His Name Is Alive, Sponge and pretty much every successful artist to emerge from Detroit over the past 20 years.

Gothenberg Productions
Founded by Melissa Van Hagen in March of 2010.

Melissa Emily Van Hagen spent 8 years in the Detroit Eminem camp as the Publishing Administrator for the Eight Mile Style Catalog, working alongside Eminem & Shady Records, The Bass Brothers, Luis Resto, and Steve King. Other acts administered in catalogs by Melissa Van Hagen include 2Pac
