Live the Sugarbeet's are a three piece act know for their strong performance, mixing live instruments, turntables and vocals in their own style called Club Rock
What’s club rock; a mix between a rock performance and the dj club scene, with musical influences like Gorillaz, Duran Duran, Happy Mondays
Sugarbeet have spend the last year working on a new way for live performance. In 2006 dj Thykier joined in. They cut their act into a basic trio, with less equipment yet a big sound. This changed the way they play their songs, so all the different aspect in their music is noticeable; pop, rock and the reggae/dub vibe, stands out in the personality of the 3 members.
Sugarbeet are a very hard working band, working in between touring on their next album, in their studio in Copenhagen.
This year they toured:
Rio De Janeiro, Brazil February 2007, 6 venues, set up by themselves and their Brazilian manager Miss Melo Bahia.
Tokyo, Japan May 2007, 9 venues in 2 weeks. the tour is setup by Sugarbeet and Just Rock Pr.
