we are sullen.
we are mad. we are in love.
we are lower middle class surburban white kids.
we are sarcastic. we are sick. we are alive.
we are different. we are the same.
we reside in the outskirts of st. louis, misery.
i have never written a biography for sullen so i don’t really know what to say, so I’ll just tell you how i feel about my band.
myself (justin- singer/guitarist) and shanna (other singer/guitarist) started this band.
we love each other and the music we write.
we have known scott (drummer) since we were 16.
the band is as it should be now.
we grew up together. we all want the same thing.
st louis can suck the life out of a rock band, though it made us who we are. we started playing out live in 1999 and have since played over 200 shows with lots of great bands in dozens of cities all over.
we want just to be a band that has integrity and good songs.
we want to take over the world.
we stand for love and hate and fucking shit up.
we would die for our songs. they are us. they’re our life.
i could bitch and moan for about 10 more pages and try to sell you this band, but our "bio" is in our songs.
when people hear our music, i know they’ll relate.
