"Summer People - I Do What I Want"

Last time I heard from Summer People was back in 2010 when they released their eclectic debut Good Problems . They're back at it with their third full-length Burn The Germs which is due to drop April 23rd. "I Do What I Want" is a grungy dirty punk anthem of carelessness, the kind you'd expect to hear in the back of some dark and dirty dive bar. Definitely digging it. - Bedwetting Cosmonaut

"Hold Your B.S. by Summer People"

Our amigos over at the BV alerted us to the greatness that is this new song “I Do What I Want” from NYC based Summer People. Now the title of my post says “Hold Your B.S.” because I feel that’s exactly what this song is telling the listener to do. It’s straight forward rock/punk rock with a who really gives a shit type of attitude. I don’t know about you, but I can always go along with those feelings from time to time. - Austin Town Hall

"Summer People get ready to 'Burn The Germs' (stream a track)"

There's a sleazy swagger to Summer People's new single, " I Do What I Want," from their forthcoming LP Burn the Germs. Due on April 23, the song shows a seedy-punk-rock, bottom-of-the-barrel attitude, not unlike that of favorites like The Cramps or Nick Cave. Check out the new track below for the first time. - Brooklyn Vegan
