SUMMERSKIN hotly tipped from Paul McCartney’s LIPA are now achieving great online acclaim. They are looking to take their unique rock sound to the shores of the USA & Europe , playing blistering live sets to appreciative audiences , while introducing the radio landscape to songs with passion, subtlety and an endearing honesty.
Having toured extensively in the UK over the past couple of years the band are looking forward to Europe and the USA in 2010 . Lee Broderick the singer has shared the stage & supported an eclectic mix of artists from Corinne Bailey Rae , Paolo Nutini , Daniel Powter , Willy Mason , Dierks Bentley through to Patrick Wolfe.
Summerskin has intelligible modern influences from acclaimed artists such as Counting Crows, John Mayer and Ben Folds, coupled with predictably guitar based legends such as Bob Dylan and Jeff Buckley.

Being the 1st act to film a Live Sessions DVD in Parr Street Studio 2 , directed and produced by Grammy Nominee Paul Caslin (Rihanna/Paul McCartney/Girls Aloud and McFly live in concert).
Playing solo in front of 20,000 people in Manchester for the Xmas Lights Switch on with Lee Ryan (BLUE)
Playing a guerrilla gig for Gary Calamar (KCRW) in his George Harrison Hotel Suite at the Hard Days Night Hotel , surrounded by Oreos and the MD of TBWA and MD of Playground Music.
Summerskin released their debut EP to acclaim from Pharrell & his Kidult website n April 2010.
