I augusti arrangerar de en festival – och de har lyckats få ihop ett fint startfält.
Just nu sitter du kanske och planerar din festivalsommar. Många spännande festivaler finns för oss som gillar hård musik. Sweden Rock Festival, Metaltown och Sonisphere förstås. Men även Getaway i Gävle – och inte minst en festival i Sorsele.
Föreningen Rock Out Wild bildades i Sorsele sommaren 2010 av fem personer. Syftet med föreningen är framför allt att arrangera festivalen Rock Out Wild, som arrangeras i just Sorsele 12-13 augusti.
Styrelsen består av ordföranden Bodil Häggström, sekreteraren Gabriella Robertson, kassören Maria Sorsén samt ledamöterna Ulf Westerlund och Emilia Hjukström.
Och nu blir det också en festival – med ett fint startfält.
På scen står bland andra Dia Psalma, Crucified Barbara, Coldspell, talangfulla Robertsforsbandet Summoned Tide och ett av mina absoluta favoritband: Helltrain, från Luleå.
Helltrain tillhör ett av två band som jag delat ut full poäng till under en livespelning av alla konserter jag bevittnat genom åren. Det andra bandet är för övrigt Meshuggah.
Så det är inte bara ute i landet det händer spännande saker i sommar.

Robertsforsbandet Summoned Tide spelar på Sweden Rock Festival, på en scen för okontrakterade band.

Det är den 9 juni som de kontraktslösa banden, åtta stycken från hela Sverige, lirar på Sweden Rock Festival i Sölvesborg. Festivalen pågår 8-11 juni.

Hard rock band Summoned Tide is Robertsfors next rock export.

Hard rock near the heart
