Sunday Night Heart

Having formed in the beginning 2010 Sunday Night Heart is American alternative/ambient/soul band from San Diego, California. The band’s members are Kendrick McMillan (bass, lead vocal), Justin Harris (rhythm guitar) who formerly played and toured with “Gateway College Choir” and opened up for contemporary artist “Dave Barnes”, Roger Smith (keys, synth) former keyboardist for "Nova", "Sound Collage Music" & "Those Dang Robinsons", Kyle McMillan (drums) former music director for "Tonex" and "GPC band", and Andres Salomon (lead guitar) formerly of the band "Fusse". The formation of the band was essentially orchestrated by Kyle McMillan. With a clear vision of the path they wanted to take in music the band begin holding late night practice sessions that would sometimes last up to five hours at a rehearsal hall in the heart of San Diego. Sunday Night Heart member Andres Salomon and Kendrick McMillan co-write the groups songs and distinctly bring a separate styling to the music that meshes and forms Sunday Night Heart's unique rhythm and rock feel. The SNH sound is rounded out by Kendrick's gospel and soul roots that intricately tie into his songwriting and reverberate vocally to show & give soulful grit. The bands goal is to flow with “The Sunday Night Heart sound”- A sound that has been described as everything from ambient-alternative-rock to psychedelic- soul to experimental-pop and anything but ordinary
