Sunday Stone

Sunday Stone formed in the summer of 2009 literally by accident. The well-versed musicians that make up the band have played together off and on over the years but have not played together as a group since 1997 in a band called Maji. The band Maji split after their lead vocalist, Ryan McCombs, left to join a National act. "When we got in the room again it was like magic!" says bassist, Matt McCombs. From a single session the members knew that the music was something special. Fast forward six months later and the band has written nine new songs. "The music is refreshing; it's definitely some of the best music I've ever been a part of" says guitarist Bob Williams. "It's really got soul. Sometimes when we're rehearsing, the songs have a life of their own. Before you know it a single song turns into a ten minute epic jam" says guitarist Jerry Cadwallader. With their unique and diverse style the band's music can only be classified individually by each listener. With an EP in the works, Sunday Stone is excited to finally get on the stage.
