"SUNFALL review"

SUNFALL is an electric/indie band from Hollywood, CA, and they bring a good collaboration of both genres of music. Songs like “Get up” starts off the album with some electric tunes that feels like a daft punk album, and the song itself is really good, and is a great song to start off the album. Then “Lucid Living” switches gears and is then more indie, and mellow. Both genres switch back and forth; making SUNFALL something new, and original worth picking up. - KTSW 89.9 THE OTHER SIDE OF RADIO – TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY

Bio

SUNFALL'S Rich Imperato (vocalist, lyricist) has been an avid singer and songwriter since the age of 16. His gift for music was soon discovered by The Young Americans, who recruited him from the east coast at 18. Following his move, he spent 6 months touring internationally and performing music outreach for numerous schools. Afterward, he moved to Hollywood, CA in order to pursue singing and writing full-time. Rich's initial recording project, Shivas Daydream, got the attention of Grammy award-winning producer Matt Hyde (best known for his work with No Doubt, Slayer and The Deftones), who compared Rich's singing to that of Jeff Buckley and Chris Cornell. As a result, Rich was invited to record his music with producer, Chuck Johnson, who has worked with the likes of Neil Young, Korn and Slipknot. Capitalizing on his wealth of experience in the studio and on stage, Rich began performing live shows throughout the L.A. region, playing in venues like The House of Blues, The Viper Room, and Key Club. In 2012, he joined forces with keyboardist & composer Noah Zauss in order to launch SUNFALL!

SUNFALL'S Noah Zauss (keyboardist, composer) has devoted the past two decades to expression through music. Trained in classical piano at the age of 8, he immersed himself in the fundamentals of music theory and performance, winning multiple certificates of achievement from the Music Teachers' Association of California for 10 consecutive years, and attending multiple "master classes" with influential artists such as the L.A. Philharmonic's Conductor Zubin Mehta, and Harpsichordist Zita Carno. He went on to study electronic music composition in college, and, upon his graduation, joined LA-based band Shivas Daydream, performing at landmark music venues like The House of Blues, The Viper Room and Key Club. Noah was invited to perform alongside bands like Berlin and Velvet Revolver at numerous charity shows, such as the Cancer Survivor Walk (L.A.) and Police Officer Down (Camarillo). He subsequently launched his recording effort with famed music producers Matt Hyde and Chuck Johnson, known for their Grammy-award winning work with No Doubt, Slayer and The Deftones. Heavily inspired by electronica/alternative music, Noah draws upon his passion for playing and deep roots in music composition to create innovative songs with partner, Rich Imperato.
