This looks like a children’s album. With catchy choruses like “I ate all the apples” and “squirrels in the bathtub,” I suppose it is meant for kids. If you didn’t look at the liner notes, you may mistake this for a band weened on the Elephant 6 collective or the more upbeat Pink Floyd and Meat Puppets songs. “Riding on a Train” recalls a happier, shinier REM song.
