Next Take
Dajanae Shaneice Cooper a.k.a. D.O.L.C.E.' is an upcoming singer/songwriter, born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She will be featured at 11A on ‘The Mid Day Mix’ 4/8/14 on DaBeat1650am54.com. She was inspired as a small child by the look and sound of the late Aaliyah, the “oldies but goodies” that her grandparents loved and her special love for music of the 90s. She began writing poetry, songs, short stories and plays when she was 7 years old. It all started in her blue diary with tweedy bird on the cover. The diary was very personal to Dajanae as it shared many experiences good and bad. Conflict between Dajanae and her mother gave her the ammunition to keep the writing flowing. She moved in with her father at the age of 16. She did a few talent shows at her high school singing songs alongside her best friend. She joined the BPI/Western Marching Flock Marching Band as a clarinetist for her last two years in high school. At Howard University she joined The Showtime Marching Band and received the name "D.O.L.C.E." from her clarinet sisters which stood for "Dominating Over Lonely Circumstances Everyday." D.O.L.C.E. is a star on the rise and an inspiration to many. The future holds endless possibilities for D.O.L.C.E., managed by her father, as she pursues songwriting, singing, acting and developmental psychology. Get to know her. @sunshineondolce - Veiga Entertainment
