I liked this one.
It had a smitherines feel with a bit Cobain. I think it was also well written lyrically. The song had a hook as it went along and slowly brings you in.
I liked the originality.
Vocals were good.

More Bass
Good lyrics. Enjoyed how the bass player introduced this song. I think he carries the song, not complicated but a catchy bass riff. The guitar stuff is cool, like the short chord bursts in the intro. The vocalist sings his ass off with some pretty good lyrics going on. The drummer gets no credit, do they ever? Great job guys, I enjoyed it.
Extra Credit: Bass.

nice bass intro
The bass and guitars are rocking in this song. Drummer is right there rocking with a good beat. The lyrics are striaght to the point and come across well. This tune is well rounded, and has a good melody.

Review
I like the quality of the production. The bass guitar mixed with the guitar part works well. The vocals works well with the rest of the song. At some points they do seem a little too overpowering over the rest of the song. Good luck

great mood
I like this song. The guitars and vocal are ok in the mix. The snare needs to be brought up, it has a great tone. The cick drum should be brought out more too and should be punchier. melody is clean and memorable.

attitude
This song's got some attitude to it..very cool lyrics. It has a punk rock feel to it,but also this raw rock edge to it.The structure is good for what the tune is.Solo rips.Cool Jamming stuff guys!

Good Players
Man, when this song started,I was looking forward to the drums coming in and they let me down a bit. They were too small sounding and need to be louder
This song reminds me of Old British Punk but the drums seem to be laying back a bit too much.
I like the chorus melody, it has a nice movement to it.
The vocals sound great and the guitar is placed nicely, but the bass has a bit too much high end on it.
Good player, good luck.

Bio

SUNYATA

Music - The one incorporeal entrance into the higher world of knowledge which comprehends mankind but which mankind cannot comprehend.
-- Beethoven

SUNYATA is the Sanskrit term for “emptiness”, although, according to D.T. Suzuki, “Sunyata may often be most appropriately rendered by the Absolute” (Manual of Zen Buddhism).

SUNYATA’s music is best described as Power rock, and its major music influences are in the fields of alternative rock, psychedelic and heavy metal.

X-man’s musical project- SUNYATA- is rooted in his first musical experiences in Ecuador- his first band (Noisy Matters) performed extensively and appeared on various radio and TV shows, as well as won a top-20’s best national bands’ contest (2002, Radio Latina).
X-man’s vocals can be described as a mixture of Kurt Cobain’s screaming and Scott Stapp’s melodious tones (Creed’s former singer).
In 2004 Xavier moves to Montreal, and continues his musical project by teaming up with new musicians, under the name of SUNYATA. His travels, university studies (Philosophy, Literature) and explorations inspire him to write new songs. Weather in English, Spanish or French, the new compositions remain true to Xavier’s alternative style, with deep yet catchy lyrics (which he writes as well). The lyrics deal with energy, illusion, dreams, time, etc.

After performing in many venues in Montreal (concerts, jams, open-mics), Xavier and his band start recording their first professional EP, in fall 2006. The result, “Kosmic Mantra”, is released by Psychedelia Productions in January 2007. The featured songs: I don’t know, Dirt, Antisocial (in Spanish) and When you’re gone got into the top 10 of Internet sites such as Soundclick, Underground Records, NumberOneMusic and Songtiger. “Kosmic Mantra” is now being played on radio stations and podcasts in Canada, US and the UK. SUNYATA has had several radio interviews and spot light shows in Montreal radios (CINQ 102.3 FM, CHOQ FM, MIKE 105.1FM and CJLO).
Presently, the band is working on the pre-production for their first album and continuing jamming in local Montreal clubs while participating in other cities and numerous festivals.
SUNYATA’s list of future projects includes recording their first album, touring across Canada and the US, and making their first video clip.
