SUPER CÉILÍ is the world's first traditional music nightclub, and has created a whole new genre of music; 'Céilí Haus'. This is a fusion of pop/dance hits with traditional reels, jigs and sean-nós songs (imagine Rihanna singing along with Joe Burke). Live traditional musicians, a dance music DJ, Irish dancers and a battery of special effects combine to create a phenomenal energy. The event has already featured on the main 'gig rig' at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, at Electric Picnic and the Barn Dance festival, and as a headline act in the Black Box theatre, Belfast. At all of these events, the show has received an incredible response from crowds, and suggestions that the name be upgraded to "ULTRA CÉILÍ".
