Super Mario and the Exotic Watermelons

Super Mario & the Exotic Watermelons, is a music project created by dj Super Mario. The group was formed in the autumn of 2010 and started recording soon after. The first 7" vinyl, Santa Maria featuring Nancy Sim on vocals was released in October 2010 under amola kalimba (www.amolakalimba.gr) and distributed by Ankh Productions. This project combines different music styles such as Funk, Afro-Beat, Acid Jazz & exotic funky tunes because of the participation of many multi-influenced musicians. At the moment the band is recording and mixing new material for their first debut album that will be released this summer.
