'The songs on Super Mini Trio's Three Chords And A Pack Of Lies sound like they were recorded decades ago, which fits the band's low-fi fun in a country approach. Guitarist/vocalist Barbara Hale specializes in lonely barfly songs like "Pocketful Of Whiskey," and is joined by guitarist/vocalist Steve Mend .... on the traditional "Y'All Come."'

Bio
Super Mini Trio formed in the early years of the new millennium. Playing an eclectic mix of covers and originals has earned them a small but loyal following in Chicago's taverns and coffeehouses (and the occasional art fair and kids' show). Barbara Eve Hale's strong alto voice connects with audiences whether she sings waltzes or rockers. Steve Mend's lead guitar lines wrap around and accent the melody. Drummer Mark Senser and bassist 'Mustang' Debbie Altman serve up a tasty groove (yeah, that adds up to four [4] people, but we're musicians not mathematicians).
