Hello. We are Super U. We like playing music together, travelling around the place and drinking Tyskie and Zweic in our little practise room while we try and make up new songs. Mmmm, cheap Polish lager.....
We've been together in various guises for about 9 years now, and are way past caring if we ever 'make it' or not. At the moment the sum of our ambitions is to finish our debut album 'We Live in Bazakhstan', which we are recording in various living rooms and studios here in Brighton with many of our wonderful musical friends. Friends such as Marty Jenkins (Space Raiders), Paul Beat (Mudlow), Alima Boog (Lait Frais), Will Calderbank (The Miserable Rich, Leisure Society), Andy Wilkins (Windham Earl, Bonobo) and Mike Siddell (Lightspeed Champion, The Miserable Rich) who have all helped us enormously and whom we owe many drinks.
The plan when we finish it is to release it on our own Sack The Juggler label. We're looking for shows, festivals and any decent live opportunities to promote our record around the UK. For more information, to hear our songs and to see our videos, please check www.superu.co.uk
