Bio
Based out of the musical melting pot of Lower Allston, Massachusetts since August of 2003, SuperVain has worked to generate, refine, and regenerate a sound and style seemingly absent on the current Boston musical landscape. Like most noteworthy rock n' roll bands, SuperVain borrows from different styles and influences, while always holding true to the spirit of rock n' roll. The sound, best described as melodic, is an effortless match of danceable rhythms and guitar hooks that borrow from roots, rock n' roll, blues and jam inspired bands. SuperVain may remind the listener of the revitalized rock n' roll sound developed in the early and mid '90s by bands such as The Black Crowes, Blind Melon, and The Screamin' Cheetah Wheelies. At the same time, listeners will undoubtedly hear the influences of the Allman Brothers Band, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, and similar classic rock n' roll bands.
